About

A lifelong Georgian

I grew up in Southwest Georgia, and I have lived in Georgia my whole life, apart from college at Princeton and one year in Boston.

I have spent more than twenty years in real estate and finance, thirteen of them practicing law. I began in investment banking at Wachovia Securities, earned my law degree at the University of Georgia, and then worked on the business side of multifamily capital markets before turning to practice as corporate counsel to a real estate private equity firm.

At the City of Atlanta, I worked on $7.7 billion of tax-exempt public financing across thirty transactions. Since then I have closed CMBS and CLO financings at a national law firm, worked in credit and asset management across a $4.6 billion commercial real estate loan portfolio, and served as senior counsel on multifamily private equity investments.

Today I am a commercial real estate finance attorney. I am admitted to practice in Georgia and New York.
