Housing is where my work and my community meet

Too many people in Atlanta, and across Georgia, are spending more than they can afford to keep a roof over their heads.

I have spent my career on the financing side of real estate: lending, public finance, private equity, and the legal work that holds it together. That work shows how decisions made far from a neighborhood, about capital, interest rates, and public bonds, end up in what a family pays in rent.

I take part in civic life here at home: neighborhood meetings, public hearings, and volunteer work. I go to listen first. The people who live with a problem usually understand it better than the people who finance it.
